Positive displacement blowers of the Delta Blower Generation 5 act as the driving force behind many processes, and are the beating heart of a strong machine combination. Offering a wide range of applications for the oil-free transport of air and neutral gases, the Generation 5 Delta Blower assemblies highlight the more than 150 years of development expertise of the technological pioneer AERZEN: powerful, robust positive displacement blowers which are highly reliable in continuous operation and convince by their durability. Easy to handle and designed to produce a low level of noise, the blower stages of the Delta Blower series are packed with German engineering expertise and prove themselves under difficult climatic as well as special environmental conditions. An innovation specially developed for the Delta Blower is the patented process of pulsation reduction, integrated into the step itself. Two channels cast into the cylinder control the reversing of the medium into the conveying chamber to avoid return and squeezing pulses — minimizing sound in the blower step and increasing the lifetime of the bearings.

Rotary Lobe Compressors / Screw Blowers
It is one of the most innovative solutions in compressor technology. Delta Hybrid is the only assembly in the world to date that combines the advantages of blower and compressor technology in one system. Around 90% of the life cycle costs of a blower are energy costs — and AERZEN meets this challenge with energy savings of up to 30% compared to conventional lobe blowers.
Delta Hybrid is the perfect synthesis of positive displacement blower and screw compressor. Unlike the conventional positive displacement blower (max. 1,000 mbar), the innovative screw blower uses a new and unique 3+4 compressor profile, which is specially designed for low pressure applications up to 1,500 mbar. Delta Hybrid thus closes the gap in the previous machine mix and offers a wide range of services for precise design to meet the most diverse process requirements. The Delta Hybrid was developed with the focus on increasing energy efficiency and achieving a significant reduction of energy costs and greenhouse gas emissions. Wire-to-process energy usage reduction can exceed 30% over typical positive displacement blowers depending on operating conditions and turndown range. The belt-driven Delta Hybrid offers the significant advantage of matching motor speed and power to the required blower performance, eliminating the need to over-speed the blower or oversizing the motor. Delta Hybrid operates in an extremely wide range of key industrial applications in wastewater and pneumatic conveying.

High-Speed Turbo Blowers

The Aerzen Turbo is the key unit for more energy efficiency — variable frequency controlled, 100% oil-free, and tailor-made for the most demanding applications.
Aerzen Turbo Blower Generation 5plus is an excellent choice for high-speed turbo blower. This turbo blower is ideal for volume flows between 360 and 9,400 m³/h. It has a significantly smaller physical footprint but boasts up to 10% higher operational efficiency than conventional turbo blowers. This space-saving high-speed turbo blower is 100% oil-free. It has numerous applications in water and wastewater treatment, pneumatic transport of bulk materials, and chemical and process technologies. The series features innovative AERZEN air foil bearings with double coating (Teflon and graphite) and new multilevel frequency converter technology that reduces heat loss in the motor to a minimum, significantly improving total efficiency. A theoretical bearing lifetime of over 80,000 operating hours is achieved regardless of stop and start cycles (more than 80 starts/stops per hour).

The single-stage, oil-free screw compressors in the Delta Screw Generation 5plus series are universal machines. They bundle all the know-how of a world market leader in compressor technology to offer you the user maximum efficiency. These innovative machines are belt-driven to provide air, nitrogen, and other neutral gases. The screw compressors in the Generation 5plus series come with a choice of specially designed rotor profiles for added flexibility. VML compressors have a 3+4 profile and are ideal for applications up to pressure ratio 3, also perfect for negative pressure applications up to 70% vacuum (0.3 bar abs). VM compressors have a 4+6 profile, tailor-made for positive pressure ranges up to 3.5 bar g, for intake volume flows of around 120 m³/h to 2,030 m³/h. The various outlets in the cylinder (πi) are a measure of internal compression — this flexibility minimizes over- and under-compression for maximum efficiency.
